"Have A Cup"

Truly, our God is an awesome God who deserves all our praises and exaltation. His promises never fail and have
been our source of strength to continue with our journey as Christians on earth… as we wait for the second coming of
our Lord Jesus Christ. Once again, God showed His wonderful presence as JCOB-Kita Matsudo Church celebrated its
13th year anniversary with the theme: Christ’s Unified People (CUP) to Press On, Move Forward and Hold Still… Have a
CUP? The theme was based on Philippians 3:14-16 that says “14I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward
call of God in Christ Jesus. 15Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise,
God will reveal that also to you. 16Only let us hold true to what we have attained.” (ESV 2001). With a more than a
hundred attendees, God reminded everyone through the event’s guest speaker, Ptra. Connie Ozaki, who is one of the
anointed women of God in JCOB-Japan, that we are not alone in our race on our Christian faith nor in competition
with one another, rather we are called to be “ONE” in running the race to achieve the prize of God’s higher calling. It
was very evident all throughout the program how God worked on each individual to form a greater bond in God’s
body. It is really true that each church member belongs to one another since we all belong to one body which is the
BODY OF CHRIST (1 Corinthians 12:14-20). (1) Press On to our Christian faith, to (2) Move Forward towards fulfilling our
God’s higher calling, to (3) Hold Still to God’s promises, and be one .
