We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God -- infallible, inerrant and the final
authority for Christian faith and life. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

We believe that there is one true God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and
Holy Spirit. (Matthew 3:16-17; 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2)

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Saviour of men, conceived of
the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, true God and true man, lived a sinless life,
died for our sins, rose again the third day, ascended to heaven, and coming again the
second time for His church. (Luke 1:26-35; John 1:18; Isaiah 7:14; 9:6; 1 Corinthians
15:1-4; John 14:2-3; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)

We believe that man was created in the image of God, but fell into sin, became alienated
from God, and can only attain salvation by grace through faith in the redeeming work
of Jesus. (Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 5:12, 18; Ephesians 2:8-9)

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, in the operation of the gifts of the Spirit, and
in the Spirit-filled life of a Christian. (Acts 2:1-4; 8:14-17; 10:44-46; 1 Corinthians 12-
14; Ephesians 5:18)

We believe in water baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper, as ordinances to be
observed by the Church. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:36-39; 1 Corinthians 11:23-32)

We believe that the true Church, the collective body of believers,  of which Jesus is the
head, is the instrument that God is using to extend His kingdom in the last days
(Matthew 16:18; 28:18-20; Ephesians 1:22-23)

We believe in eternal life for believers in heaven with the Lord, and in eternal punishment
for unbelievers in hell with Satan and his angels. (John 5:24; 3:16; Luke 6:23; Mark 9:
43-48; 2 Thessalonians 1:9; Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20:10-15)
